Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I am currently a PhD student. I know that a PhD or equivalent degree is one of the eligibility requirements for TIDIRH. I was wondering if exceptions have been made in the past.
A: TIDIRH is a very competitive program and applicants must have a terminal degree in their field. We are planning on holding this training annually and hope that once completed your PhD you will apply!

Q: If accepted to TIDIRH, am I expected to participate in the webinars live or will they be recorded so that I can watch them when I have time?
A: The webinars will be recorded and posted every two weeks. Participants are able to view the webinars and participate in the on-line course during the two weeks following each webinar. Office hours will be held live on a set date/time following each webinar to allow for real-time interaction with faculty. If participants cannot participate in the live office hours, they will be able to post questions and responses will be posted on a regular basis.
