15 Years of HINTS: Lessons Learned & Future Directions
May 22-23, 2019
Bethesda, MD

The fifth HINTS Data Users Conference, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), will take place on May 22-23, 2019 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland. The conference will be an opportunity to present and discuss research using Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) data and to highlight the role of HINTS research in public health and clinical care.

Since its launch in 2003, the HINTS program has been tracking changes in the rapidly evolving health communication and information technology landscape, and collecting data about the public’s knowledge of, attitudes toward, and use of cancer- and health-related information in order to advance the knowledge base on health communication and inform intervention planning. The HINTS survey has been fielded 11 times to date, with additional rounds of data collection planned through 2020.

We hope you’ll join us in May as we discuss what we’ve learned from the past 15 years of HINTS data and where we plan to go from here!
