Submission Terms & Conditions

Abstract submission terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without notice. Battelle reserves the right to edit abstracts for required formatting and for grammatical, punctuation, and capitalization errors. If significant editing is required, we will ask you to resubmit the abstract with the required changes. Battelle reserves the right to decline any abstract that contains excessive promotional/marketing content and/or does not fit the technical scope.
By submitting the abstract, you confirm that the proposed presentation will be original and that you have obtained any necessary permission (e.g., client approval, copyright) for the content. In addition, you agree to the following:
  1. Battelle will circulate the abstract for review among members of the Cancelled - 2021 Combined Chlorinated and Bioremediation Conference Program Committee and the chairs of applicable sessions.
  2. If the proposed presentation is accepted for the program, Battelle will:
    • Include the citation information (title and authors’ names) in the Preliminary and Final Program materials.
    • Reproduce the abstract and any associated presentation file, including PowerPoints (as a PDF, without speaker notes) for platform presentations and poster PDFs, in printed and/or digital documents. Examples include, but are not limited to, an abstract collection and/or mobile scheduling application released shortly before the Conference and the proceedings released after the Conference. You will have an opportunity to submit an updated abstract before the Conference; details will be provided with program placement notification emails.
  3. Battelle may contact you and any authors appearing on the abstract with information about the Cancelled - 2021 Combined Chlorinated and Bioremediation Conference and other Battelle conferences.
  4. The corresponding/presenting author is the person who intends to give the platform or poster presentation at the Conference. This person will be the contact for all communication from the Conference Office about this abstract. If there is a change in the corresponding/presenting author for this abstract, please notify us immediately by sending an email to chlorcon@battelle.org
  5. If you are not the corresponding/presenting author or if the corresponding/presenting author changes later, you will communicate these Submission Terms to the corresponding/presenting author.
