The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Center for Environmental Research (NCER) is honored to have the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE),
and the American Chemical Society (ACS) as co-sponsors for this year's event. In addition, we are thrilled to have a committed Fellowship Advisory Committee that works closely with NCER's Conference Planning Committee team. The Web site has been set up specifically for you to register for the 2011 EPA STAR Graduate Fellowship Conference. Fellows are required to register and participate in the conference.*
The deadline for your Conference registration is June 30, 2011. Important: You are required to develop a poster presentation of your research activity to date in an electronic file form according to a special template that will be provided to you. The deadline for submitting your poster in e-file format is June 30, 2011. Note: If you are a new Fellow as of 2011, you will not need to provide a poster. When you click on the "registration" tab at the top of this Web page, links to two separate registration sites will appear, click on one of the two links to be directed to the appropriate registration sites:
Displaying posters and Social Event/Ice Breaker will be on Sunday, September 18, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We encourage you to read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) before registering. Please click on the tab "FAQs" at the top of this Web page. Gladys Cobbs-Green, Brandon Jones, Ted Just, Andre Porter, and Ryann Williams from NCER have the lead for organizing this important event and will be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Early departures are not encouraged because of the reception on Capitol Hill, so please plan accordingly to stay over until Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
